What to Expect

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin — avoid active skincare products like retinol for several days prior to treatment

  • The formula includes a built-in anesthetic; your provider will apply the peel solution 4-5 times over the treated area and assess your skin in between each application

  • The peel solution is applied in-office and you will leave with it on your skin, you will be provided an after care kit with an app to assist in the ease of the peel after care process

  • Peeling starts on day 3 and is heaviest days 3-5 (this may vary for body peels)

  • Avoid sweating/excess heat for 72-96 hours; avoid direct hot water, prolonged sun exposure, exfoliants, and picking/pulling at skin during the peeling process

  • Use only the products provided in your VI Peel aftercare kit or approved by your provider during the recovery period

  • Yes! The VI Peel is formulated to be safe and effective for all skin types, tones, and textures, including sensitive skin.

  • Most clients experience visible peeling for three to five days, beginning around day three post treatment. Keep in mind that peeling varies by individual and formula – and less peeling does not mean less results. The VI Peel works beneath the surface to stimulate collagen and promote skin renewal, so even minimal peeling can deliver meaningful improvement.

  • It is best to avoid makeup during the peeling phase to allow your skin to heal properly. Your provider will advise you on when it is safe to resume.

  • Many clients see a meaningful improvement after just one peel. A series of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended for more significant concerns.
